Visiting Korea

Oil on Hanji

This painting was completed in Seoul, Korea in 2008.  It was one of the first paintings I attempted on hanji.  The border around the painting where the tape held the paper to a board was left as is.  I was pretty unhappy with my situation at the time, and in turn my painting turned out a little darker than the current ones.

I do love how the feet and hands turned out.  Share your thoughts!  Tell me what you think!  🙂
